she's going for distance, she's going for speed.

So roughly two months after taking her first steps, Erin has finally put crawling away for good. I was surprised to see her walking (or trying to walk) at 11 months since she was such a late crawler, and now she toddles all over the place looking like a drunken sailor. Blessedly, this has slowed her down somewhat... and if she tries to run away when she knows she's in trouble, she usually topples over pretty quickly. Now we enter a LONG season of bruises and skinned knees...

she has got to be the tallest 13mon old ever! Poor thing- that might mean bigger bruises b/ she has farther to fall...soon enough she will be outrunning you. too, too sweet. kiss her for her auntie.

You are most like Tim!!!!

"Young, Bold and Adventuresome...you like long walks with Lord of the Rings characters and playtimes that never end. Your friends may not like your smell (because you hate showers) but that’s ok because Real Men don't have friends they have Blood Brothers!! Life is a bed of roses (Real men hate flowers but love thorns) when you have all day to bounce on trampolines and fight imaginary foes. Besides who are you to worry about time, when you are more than willing to spend nine hours on a ten minute George Washington Manners lesson.

Life is grand, when you are care free."

The song is called "Going the Distance" by Cake, and the lyrics actually say "...he's going for distance, he's going for speed. She's all alone, all alone at a time of need" Just picked up "B-sides and rarities" by them and its great.
