Come on babe, why don't we paint the town?

Caleb, Catie and I took Erin to her first football game last weekend - Virginia Tech hosting Marshall. In accordance, Tech cleaned up nicely and enjoyed a festive Homecoming weekend. We couldn't resist buying a VT sweatshirt for Erin... she says "my colors are maroon and orange" (no, papa, not agent orange). We also had a good visit with the Borgquists and Andersons in Charlottsville where we dined on wonderful italian food and played quite a bit of Texas Hold 'Em. How thankful we are for good friends and great fellowship!

What a sweet picture of BOTH of you! When you come, will you bring some of the cool with you so we can ALL wear sweatshirts?

So, let me get this straight. Certain people, who will remain unnamed pending investigation, are doing the following: feeding an infanct noxious substances (Frosty), teaching an infanct to gamble hard earned income, refusing to put clothing on the infant of blue and gold colors.

Don't worry Erin, when you come visit Papa he'll put in an ND shirt, give you healthy Blizzards and teach you Blackjack.

yes my hair is getting long (but not long enough for my liking), we will try to bring cold weather but for some reason it usually slips from our grasp somewhere around texarkana, thank you, and Erin says she can't wait to taste blizzard. if only you can beat vanessa to it :-)

Hmmm...I won't let anyone show me up - Anne, when can we take Erin t DQ?

sessa, Erin says she's ready to go when you're feeling better.

shane, this time i'm really gonna try to grow out my hair. as long as i don't get pregnant again soon, my plan should work.

Um, better tell Caleb that plan.

oh he knows. its really his plan anyway. MY plan would be never to get pregnant again - adoption has a lot less morning sickness.

The more I look at Erin's picture the more she looks like a twin of that baby who does the Quizno's commercials. You know, he's too young to talk but he does anyway.

Annie, she is beautiful and does NOT look like Bob, don't let your dad say things like that.

remember what i told you, dad. even if sessa gives her frosty, blizzard, concretes from Shakes(don't get any ideas, sessa) and whatever else, you will still be the first to show her the whole world that she was missing in diet pepsi! and no, she doesn't look like the quiznos baby......and shane, im sooo glad someone agrees with me about her hair....but i wouldn't take her word for it just yet...i'd have to see it to believe it...i've been tricked for eight years and it seems to keep getting shorter and shorter....ok this is a long comment...ok.....i'll stop now....ready? right.....now.
